I love Tom Cruise! I was so excited to see this movie. I know that many fans of the book were not happy with Cruise being Jack Reacher in the film. He looks nothing like how the character is described in the book. If the books are as good as the movies, I am thinking that I m
ay look into reading them. I really liked the movie Jack Reacher.
This movie is your typical crime thriller but it has a very smart script. My husband and I really liked the story. It had some great twists to it and it had some great humor to help with some of the very tense moments.
Tom Cruise was fantastic in this movie. He always impresses me with the amount of stunts he does on his own. He also had a lot of fun personality. His character is a no nonsense sort of guy and some of the best lines are said by Cruise. Rosamund Pike was also great as the defense attorney in the film. She and Tom Cruise really acted well together. Another fun surprise was seeing Robert Duvall in the film. His character was a great addition to the film and the plot.
Jack Reacher is a pretty violent film. It is definitely a movie for mom, dad, and older teens. It would be best to leave your little kids home for this one.
I really like Jack Reacher and I have already recommended it to my parents. I would definitely watch it again!
