I have to admit I am guilty of skipping breakfast to often. It can just get so busy getting the house tidy, kids dressed and fed, I just forget to take time to feed myself. I end up feeling sick a little later in the day and realize it is because I forgot to eat. It’s a horrible thing to do. So I have found that if I can grab something small, quick and easy then I will actually eat breakfast.
That is why I have fallen in love with Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest cereal bars. I was sent the strawberry and blueberry flavors to try out. I couldn’t wait to try them.

They are SO GOOD! Not only do they give me a great start to my morning, but they taste delicious. Right when I opened the strawberry bar the smell was so strong (in a good way). Yum!
I have been eating them each morning since they came and love how fast and easy it is to grab one during my busy morning. I even snapped a quick selfie of myself enjoying the blueberry bar this morning 
My husband has also been grabbing a bar on his way out the door and loves the taste and convenience as well. We are hooked!
Now that I have a way to make breakfast for myself super easy, here are some other tips for making your morning routine a little easier:
- Make school lunches the night before.
- Make a chart for your kids of what they need to do in the morning (to help avoid nagging)
- Set your kids clothes out the night before.
- Have a morning routine or schedule and stick to it (I find having it written out helps).
- Find a car pool, if you don’t already have one. Eliminating the need to drive kids to school everyday really helps free up some time (and it’s better for the environment).
- Stay organized. Keep everything you (and the kids) will need to take with you all in one place so you aren’t frantically searching for items at the last minute.
