Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation Film Review~ See It Now In Theaters!

I attended an advance screening of this film for my review.  All opinions are my own.

“With the IMF disbanded, and Ethan (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet.” -Paramount

My husband and I are big fans of the Mission Impossible movie franchise.  We have been very excited to see the latest addition.  After viewing the film, we both really enjoyed Mission Impossible:  Rogue Nation.

Just like the previous films in the series, Mission Impossible:  Rogue Nation is very action packed and the stunts do not disappoint.  Once again, Tom Cruise does a majority of his own stunts and some of them are jaw dropping.  There are very memorable stunts with a plane, underwater, and an impossible 2awesome car chase.

The movie has a fantastic plot line that keeps you involved the whole time.  It is very clever and unfolds in the typical Mission Impossible style.  The movie is intense but also has many comic relief moments.

The acting was  great in this movie.  Tom Cruise is still fantastic as Ethan Hunt and Simon Pegg offers the great comic relief.  My husband and I both really liked Rebecca Ferguson as the female lead.  She was definitely able to keep up with Tom Cruise with all the action scenes.

Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Mission Impossible:  Rogue Nation.  For me, the films in this franchise just keep getting better.  I highly recommend this film and would love to see it again.

Mission Impossible:  Rogue Nation gets bragging rights!

impossible 1

Mission Impossible:  Rogue Nation in now playing in theaters, including IMAX.  It is rated PG-13 for “for sequences of action and violence, and brief partial nudity.”  For more information about the movie, you can visit the official website for Mission Impossible:  Rogue Nation.
