The Internship Film Review~ Opens Today In Theaters

Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students. But, gaining entrance to this utopia is only half the battle. Now they must compete with a group of the nation’s most elite, tech-savvy geniuses to prove that necessity really is the mother of re-invention. (c) Fox

I was pretty excited to see The Internship.  When I saw the trailer, I was laughing so hard.  I will admit, I laughed a lot more watching the actual movie.

I think Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are a great comic team.  They are hilarious together, especially in this film.  I also thought that this film had a great message.  In hard times, you need to keep trying and never give up.

This movie makes me want to visit the real Google campus.  It looks like such a fun but competitive place to work.  They have places for their employees to take naps, they can ride bikes around campus, there is a lot of free food, and a volleyball court.  These are a lot of the reasons why the characters Billy and Nick want to work at Google too!

One of the best moments in the movie is when many of the characters participate in a game of Quidditch.  Yes, I just said Quidditch.  My friend and I were all but rolling on the floor.  I would watch this movie again just to watch this scene.

There a few moments in this movie that were pretty raunchy and unnecessary but overall, I laughed quite a bit.  This movie would be great for adults and probably ok for most teenagers.  It was a funny movie with a great message.

The Internship is now playing in theaters.  It is rated PG-13.  For more information about the movie, you can to the film’s official website.
