♥ I was able to review two great products from UV Skinz. I received a shirt for my son and a shirt and short set for my daughter. They were so excited to get to try them. Their friends have other versions of these and even their little sister has one. But they don’t compare to the quality of these UV Skinz swim shorts and swim shirts. The fabric is nice to touch too. Great for sensitive people. My kids have skin issues and normally complain about certain things and no complaints here. So that was a big plus for us! I also love that it blocks 98% of the suns rays. I am very worried and am overly spraying my kids with sunblock. What mom wouldn’t be concerned about sun protection. Right? Well, now I can let my guard down just a little. LOL Another point I wanted to mention is Chlorine! I hate it. Ruins everything. Well the UV Skinz are Chlorine-Resistant. Love that! I was very excited when I was introduced to Zoodles.com because online safety for kids is VERY important to me.  I am very impressed with Zoodles, they have completely designed this browser with kids in mind.  The login screen shows pictures so even non readers can tell which account is theirs vs. their bro or sisters.  Then once your child logs in their account is made specifically for their age.  Like a 3 year olds account is going to have less options vs. a 7 year olds who will have more advanced settings and options.  They have so many fun and educational online games.  It is nice because your child can’t exit out to your browser and delete the beloved family photos, or change all your computer settings. But best of all I love knowing the kids are safe while playing on the computer.  You don’t have to worry about them being exposed to anything but good quality educational content!

Z2 Wear Messenger Sack Review

Z2 Wear is a hip place for high end girls clothes. You will find rompers, tunics, dresses, shirts and messenger sacks. These clothes are so chic looking. Any girl would love to own these hip girls clothes. Not only are they cute for girls, you cool moms will love them too!

The Z2 wear girl has her own little twinkle before she truly shines! The new Elite Collection takes inspiration from that belief.

♥ I was so lucky to be able to review one of Z2Wears Z2 Sack. I love it as much as my girls do. They are quite old enough to use it so I get to. They just think it is so pretty. LOL We have been using our sack every chance we get. It can be used for so many different things, I know you will love it. So far we have used ours for keeping my business supplies close at hand, taking swim suits to a friends for a day by the pool, sneaking candy into the movies (shhh, don’t tell, LOL) and taking toys and books into dinner to keep the kids busy. My friends daughter (15) even borrowed it for a day out with her friends. They all loved it and wanted to know where they could get one. Before I forget, the Sack we got was called “Shark Skin” It is a beautifully made shiny blue fabric with hot pink stitching and has the cool Z2Wear Logo on one of the pockets. This sack along with the clothing line will have your teens and tweens happy. I definitely recommend checking into Z2Wear today! ♥

What girl wouldn’t want this Tunic! This is Z2Wears “Garden Paisley Tunic” I love the teal and charcoal pattern. This top is made from 100% cotton with a mandarin collar, placket front and ruffles with deep cuff. It will be available this August. Set your sights on this now because I know it will go fast.

This “Juliette Romper” is so cute. It is shown wearing over the Tunic above. What a great combination. This is also made of 100% cotton and is sleeveless with great ribbon detail. Just as cute with out the tunic underneath. This will also be available this August. Start writing down your wish list.

Oh My, check out this adorable “Scottsdale Jumper”. This is made of Indigo Stretch Denim and is also 100% cotton. It has pleated w/crystal patch pockets and a top stich faux belt. This lil romper would be cute for any occasion. Dress it up with one of their adorable tunic and messenger sacks for fun day out.

This is another great “Messenger Sack” that I had to show off. I love the striped pattern and the embroidered touches. The crystals add a beautiful finish as well as their adorable logo. Use the saddle strap to easily carry this to work or play.

♥ I received some books for review from Barefoot Books and I was so pleased. One for each of my children. Two of them even have a Storytime CD. My kids love that. The first book we read was “The Real Princess, A Mathemagical Tale” It is a fun way to practice your math skills and is a similar story to The Princess and the Pea. I love that there is a Test your Counting Skills section at the end of the book. We also got “The Barefoot Book of Knights” and “The Barefoot Book of Princesses”. Both of these came with Storytime CD’s. They also both teach your child about bravery, compassion, ingenuity and a little luck. I love teaching books. The last book we received was “Winter Shadow”. This is a wonderful book that teaches your child about compassion for nature and nurturing. A young girl finds an abandoned wolf cub and nurses it back to health. A very touching story. My daughter loved this one the best. All of the books we got for review were beautifully written and had some amazing full-color illustrations. Your child will love reading their Barefoot books! These Children’s books will make great gifts for anyone! ♥

★ I was sent to wonderful books from Barefoot Books to review with my kids. The first was for Bug it is called “Counting Cockatoos”. This book is so very cute, each page counts up with new animals helping on each page. And there are always 2 cockatoos hiding as well. So not only is it a counting book but also a hide and seek book. Bug loves it, he has discovered a HUGE love of reading lately and receiving this new book made his day. I love the illustrations they are so beautiful! This is definitely a great book to have for toddlers. The second book I received was for C who is 10. They sent him “Arthur of Albion”. In this book you “Discover the rich and lasting tradition of King Arthur. The stories and historical details in this gift collection relive the wonder of the Knights of the Round Table, Lancelot and Merlin, the quest for Excalibur, and Guinevere and the ladies of the court. Includes full-color map of realm of Albion.” We have had a lot of fun learning about King Arthur together while reading this book. It is great to see him excited about learning. The illustrations in this book are very beautiful as well. You really can’t go wrong with Barefoot Books! ★

✿ My little girl loves to be read to and loves to “read” and look at picture books. I was so excited to receive 2 great books from Barefoot Books! One of the Books is called “Who’s in the Garden?” and is a Peek-A-Boo lift the flap board book. It is about a little girl who is building a garden and lots of her little friends are coming to visit! My daughter loves to lift the flap and see Who is visiting, from the Moles, to the birds to bee’s, this is a wonderfuly colorful book that kids of all ages would adore! The other book I received was “Counting Cockatoos” and is a very colorful book that has lots “tumbling tigers, happy hippos, rumbling lions, and two cockatoos on every page!” It teaches counting and is such a fun book. Leah and I both loved the books we received and i can’t wait to buy more from Barefoot Books! ✿


✻ I really enjoy reading to my children- especially now that Harrison is to the age of pointing out objects and making animal noises. Barefoot Books sent me two really great books- “Baby’s First Book”, and “I Spy the Sun in the Sky”. I love them both so much! “Baby’s First Book” is great to just cuddle up in the rocking chair and enjoy with your child. It has lots of nursery rhymes, and simple images that your child can easily identify. Harrison & I had a lot of fun reading this book, and has quickly become one of our favorites. “I Spy the Sun in the Sky” has also become one of our fav’s. It’s a really great story with awesome illustrations and most importantly, educational! These books are definitely better than anything you can just buy at the store- I will be buying more from Barefoot Books! ✻

Laugh and Learn DVD set and Book Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

♥ Laugh & Learn is a great site for expecting moms, friends, birth coaches, husbands, families and many more. Really, at first I thought, “What more do you need to know?” But Wow, there was so much to learn while viewing the videos and reading the book. I am done having children and wished I had these to review with my first pregnancy. I was scared. Didn’t know what to expect. I had only seen my sister in law have kids. It was a breeze for her. I went to lamaze class and left scared and confused. After 4 c-sections I was pretty much done. LOL It would have been nice to learn how to talk to my doctors. The right questions to ask. Basically get to know my pregnant body as well as breast feeding, which was difficult at first and learning about new born care. You can buy all the books you want, but nothing I ever had would ever compared to these wonderful videos. I am a very visual person and if you are like me, you will love them too!
I received all three videos for review as well as Sheri’s book- Laugh and Learn about Childbirth. How wonderful that I was able to view them. I thought I didn’t need to review this because I already had my kids, but boy was I wrong. I will take what I have learned to all my friends and even to my children when they have kids. ♥


A very informative, easy book to read. Learn everything to do with childbirth and laugh along too. The illustrations are amazing and guess what moms, daddy’s will love it too. There are even tips in there for them. I recommend getting this for yourself, even if you are done having kids and as a gift to anyone who is expecting.

I personally love goby, isn’t that just the cutest little fish?  But I love it for so much more than just the adorable fishy, or as my son would say “shishy”.  It is so nice to have a place where all us parents and grandparents can go to search for fun and exciting things to do with our families.  I especially love how the results come up with images and maps since I am a very visual person. I just recently searched for children’s activities in my area and found a children’s museum that I hadn’t ever heard of about 30 min. away.  I am really excited about this discovery and I can’t wait to take my kids there.  Thanks goby!

♥ I recently was able to review a really great site “Can I get the Recipe?” I love it because I can go there and plan out my weekly menu, using their fantastic recipes and shopping lists. It is so easy and there are recipes for anyones taste buds. One of the best dishes I tried was the Chicken, Mushrooms and Parmesan with Orzo. The recipe was easy. I had my shopping list right there and they even give you tips on how to omit the chicken to make this a vegetarian dish. WOW! They also mention how this makes a great left over lunch dish. Um, yeah. I actually ate it cold in sandwich form with a slice of wheat bread and it was so tasty. I eat a lot of hot dishes cold, in sandwich form. LOL You should try this one that way for sure. I also love that Can I get the Recipe? includes featured cookbooks as well as reviews and giveaways. You can win great kitchen gadgets. Who wouldn’t love that!!! I really enjoyed my time spent on their site and will go back often to find great recipes for my family. I was also very thankful that they sent me a wonderful cookbook to review.

The Best of Chef at Home… Essential Recipes for Today’s Kitchen…. It is a fantastic cookbook using everyday ingredients that are easily found at your local grocery store. Chef Michael Smith brings you the best in home comfort foods as well as fancy dishes that are easy to make. He even suggests how you should experiment with your own dishes. Squeaky Clean Tot Website Review and Feature

n109220384020_5396 Squeaky Clean Tot is a website “where parents can find, rate and review safe non-toxic and organic baby and toddler products.” I really love this website, especially because it’s parents like you and me who are reviewing the products and letting each other know which ones are safe and which ones are not! I wish I would have known about this earlier because like their daughter, my daughter has eczema too and now I know what we can use to clear it up!

It all started “When our daughter, Matilda was born in June of 2008 we became very concerned about what we were putting on her little body. At 9 months, she began to develop eczema and we discovered it was the products we were using in the bath. We stopped using them and started applying shea butter to her skin every night and the eczema cleared up in no time. Then news started to break about the concerns of BPA and we started our research again. We began to switch all of Matilda’s drinking cups, utensils and plates over to BPA free products. As we were researching products for Matilda, we realized there aren’t too many places where parents can get honest advice about safe and non-toxic baby and toddler products from their peers. The idea for this website was born and since then we have added hundreds of products that we feel are safe for babies and toddlers.” (from the Squeaky Tot, All About Us page)

We have spent many hours researching these products and have found the ones that do not contain parabens, sodium laureth sulfate, phthalates, or BPA.

I really like that this website has lots of different categories to look at such as BPA free bottles, sippy cups, Cradle Cap, Lotions, Detergents etc. One of things we are dealing with right now is Teething! They recently reviewed some teething tablets that I would LOVE to try!
